Why Apple Cider Vinegar?

Apple cider vinegar is the unsung hero of this recipe. It adds a bright, tangy note that balances the sweetness of ketchup and brown sugar, giving the sauce its distinctive kick. It also helps tenderize meat, making it a great marinade base for your BBQ dishes. Plus I accidentally bought like 6 bottles of it so some of it had to go.

Easy to Make, Easy to Love

Making your own BBQ sauce is a game-changer. You control the flavors, adjust the spice level, and can make it as tangy or sweet as you like. The best part? It takes just 30 minutes and a handful of ingredients you probably already have in your pantry.

Tips for the Perfect BBQ Sauce:

  • Consistency is Key: If you like your sauce thicker, simmer it longer until it reaches the desired consistency.

  • Spice it Up: Add more cayenne pepper or even some hot sauce if you prefer a spicier sauce.

  • Storage: This sauce stores well in the fridge, making it easy to prepare ahead of time for all your summer grilling plans.

Perfect Pairings

This Gluten Free BBQ sauce recipe pairs beautifully with grilled meats, but don't stop there! Try it on roasted vegetables, burgers, or even as a zesty pizza sauce. The possibilities are endless, and the results are always delicious.
